Pet Companions
Does your Pet need a Friend?
If you are looking for a companion for a feline you may already have, please consider enhancing the life of one of our felines that may not have a good chance of being adopted based on it’s shy, bashful, or introverted personality.
Placement of sociable cats and kittens is easy, however S.T.A.R.T. occasionally has hard to place cats which we like to call “Pet Companions”. These cats and kittens love to be in the company of other cats or animals and need that companionship to survive. They just don't need the total one-on-one attention from a human. These feline friends are not feral but may not like to be held or snuggled and may get nervous in different situations. But these poor felines need a loving caring home.
Because S.T.A.R.T does not have a shelter, these animals are in the care of our foster homes. We can tell you the personalities of these animals and what you can expected after a short transition period. Please think about opening your heart and home to one of our Pet Companions. It may be the best thing you ever do for your feline that needs a friend!
